Your Wedding at Colstoun

We are located in the middle of East Lothian near Haddington. Set in ancient woodland and steeped in history. Colstoun is the ideal location for your romantic Scottish wedding.

We can accommodate 150 guests for wedding receptions in the Coach House and 100 guests in the historic drawing room.

We are located 45 minutes from Edinburgh Waverly and the airport and yet in the middle of nowhere!

Wedding ceremonies can be held all over the parkland and in the walled garden. We have you covered if you want 4 or up to 200 people for the ceremony.

Corporate Events

We have hosted corporate events at Colstoun since we opened our doors to the public more than a decade ago. We have worked with many international organisations and provided solutions from corporate board meetings to product launches in our unique way.

Due to our secluded location, we hold many strategy meetings for the whisky industry. We also host a variety of team-building experiences, from Whisky tasting to Highland Games.

Smaller Events

Colstoun, like all country estates, was built to host parties. We've combined the house's history with the best modern-day service to create a memorable experience for small events.

We regularly host parties for retirements, birthdays, family holidays, sporting trips and many other types of events.

We work with you to produce an experience that covers all of your needs from flying in a Michelin Starred Chef to baked beans on toast. Let us know what you want and we will work to make it a reality.

The Coach House

The Coach House is our primary event space at Colstoun. The Coach House hosts dinners for 20 people up to 150.

This space holds rural conferences, weddings, wakes, New Year's parties and everything in between.

It has a dedicated kitchen that is large enough for any caterer and a scullery for washing all the dishes.
